This feature article I made is about the evolution of malware, how cybersecurity can be used to fight against malware and the future implications of both. I decided to create this article to spread awareness about malware and how it can be used to harm computers, cause millions of dollars in damage, and how cybersecurity can help prevent these attacks from happening. Cybersecurity and malware are interesting to me because there are more malware attacks happening today and more efforts taken to prevent or stop malware altogether. Malware was created accidentally back in the day or used for fun, but now it’s made to wreak havoc on electronics and to gain profit on purpose.
