Welcome

This site will show my best works from my English class! Prepare to be intrigued and interested. These works may not the best you have ever seen but they are pieces that make you think. I will also explain some to help you if you want to get great results like I have!

About Me!

My name is Daniel Moore! At the time of creating this website, I am 18 years old and a CCNY first-year undergraduate Student who is majoring in Computer Science. My personal hobbies are photography, trying new foods, learning about new things, reading, gaming and working out. My academic interests are computer science and math. I hope to become a cybersecurity analyst, penetration tester or security architect when I graduate college.

I created this portfolio to showcase my growth as the semester has progressed and to show my potential as I move forward in life as I become a sophomore, junior and eventually become a senior. You can access my work with the tabs located above and here are brief descriptions of all of them.

The second tab is about using SPACECAT, a rhetorical analysis method to analyze Sojourner Truth’s Speech “Ain’t I a Woman?” and Plato’s 7th book of the Republic, “The Allegory of the Cave”.

The third tab is about Charting, another rhetorical analysis method that I used to analyze the second book of the Republic, “The Ring of Gyges”.

The fourth tab is about my Feature Article which is about the evolution of malware and how cybersecurity can help prevent malware and stop it from harming devices.

Lastly, the last tab is about what I consider my “Best of the BEST work”. My composition of 10 genres is about a boy in college who procrastinates and eventually stops doing so to better himself.

The order of the tabs is based on the assignments I have done during the school year in chronological order.

I hope you enjoy them.
